帝女花是比羅密歐與朱麗葉更浪漫更唯美的愛情故事

I grew up looking up to the western culture, I was a fan of everything American or British.  I used to detest everything Chinese.  I hated practicing my Chinese calligraphy, I hated studying my Chinese History and Chinese Literature, and I hated going to the Cantonese Opera with my granny.  But after I spent some years living abroad, I'm suddenly feeling a pull towards everything Chinese.  I'm feeling the sense of pride when I visit China these days. It's odd, but I'm currently developing a new appreciation in Cantonese Opera.  I'm seeing how poetic and beautiful it is.  For reasons I can't explain, this song moves me into tears. I  feel so lucky to be Chinese.
